what is your typical schedule like during the year?

Our softball seasons generally run from Late February until Late September. Easing into playing softball again, we offer casual Spring Training practices to get back into the swing of things slowly and to meet everyone in the community. Spring season usually happens April-June and Summer season happens July-late September. Single games are on Sundays and the duration is 1 hour. Our off-season is from Late September-Late February. If you’re interested in joining a team for fall season, feel free to reach out to me and I can refer you to a few of our friends’ softball teams.

I’ve never played softball before, but i’m interested!

Awesome! We welcome everyone in this community, especially people wanting to learn about softball and have fun. It’s recommended to join us for Spring Training in Late February so we can get you familiar with everything about softball at a pace that is comfortable. If you’re planning to join us mid-year, we highly recommend coming out to a game and checking it out! Feel free to say hi!

do i need to provide my own gear/equipment?

We can provide you a list of recommended gear/equipment and other items to consider if you’re interested in playing softball with us. At the very least, we recommend buying your own softball glove and some comfortable athletic shoes/cleats to play on a dirt infield and grass outfield. We typically share bats between teams.

why is the bat intentions softball community a good group to join?

We’re an established softball community since 2019 and continue to try and find ways to improve individual and team experiences on and off the field. We’re fortunate to have a supportive and positive environment for learning and growth, and do our best to have fun and enjoy each other’s company playing a sport that we all love. There’s room for people of all experiences/skill levels. We try to offer fun events throughout the year like a Bat Intentions Media Day (professional photos and videos), Bat Intentions Mariners Outing, End of the Season celebrations, Award Recognitions and more.
